MULTAN:A 15-year-old boy died on the spot after being hit by a speeding car in Royal Orchard’s Block B, Street No. 10, Rescue officials said on Monday.
According to Rescue 1122, an emergency call about a road accident near Block A of Royal Orchard was received from a caller. Eyewitnesses told rescuers that the speeding car struck the boy as he stood in the street.
The impact threw him against the gate of a house, causing a severe head injury that proved fatal.
The deceased was identified as Waseem Abbas, son of lnsar Abbas, a resident of Muzaffargarh.
Rescue 1122 personnel reached the scene and found that the boy had already died.
Police were present at the site. After completing legal formalities, the body was shifted to Nishtar Hospital Multan under police supervision.
