Layyah: A 14-year-old boy was killed and his father critically injured in a road accident in Karor Lal Esan after a truck collided with their motorcycle amid dense fog near Kot Atta Muhammad on Sunday morning.
According to police and rescue sources, the deceased was identified as Farhan, while his father Riaz Hussain sustained serious injuries and was shifted to a nearby hospital, where his condition is reported to be critical.
The accident occurred due to heavy fog when the truck hit the motorcycle.
Sources said Farhan was accompanying his father to a madrasa for when the incident occurred.
After completion of legal formalities, the body was handed over to the family.
Police have initiated an investigation into the incident.
