Faisalabad:The police have safely recovered a boy and exposed his false abduction case, registered with Jahanian police station.
A police spokesman said here on Sunday that one Shehnaz Bibi, a resident of Chak No. 110/10-R Jahanian, district Khanewal, lodged a false complaint with the police station on October 23, 2024, claiming that her 12-year-old son Shehroz Ali was kidnapped and he might be killed.
She named her rivals Anwaar-ul-Haq and Muhammad Mohsan of her locality as the kidnappers. But, she herself sent her son to the house of her relatives in Nishatabad.
The Jahanian police investigated the matter and located the whereabouts of the boy in Nishatabad police area.
A police team conducted a successful raid and recovered the boy safely. Further investigation in this regard was under progress, spokesman added.
