QUETTA:Balochistan Union of Journalist (BUJ) on Friday condemned the killing of Athar Mateen, a Journalist, associated with the Samaa TV Karachi.
In a statement, Irfan Saeed, President BUJ and Manzoor Ahmed Baloch, General Secretary BUJ expressed grave concern over the killing of Athar Mateen. “BUJ is grieved over the murder of Mateen,” BUJ said and called for immediate arrest of the elements involved in the brutal killing of Journalist.
They deplored that Sindh government has failed to provide protection to the life, property and honour of the citizen. “Journalist community stands by the bereaved family in this critical hour,” the statement further added.
It also expressed condolence to the bereaved family and prayed for the eternal peace of the soul of the slain journalist.
