FAISALABAD: A bus hit to death one robber besides inflicting serious injuries to his two accomplices in the area of Buchiana police station.
A police spokesman said here on Tuesday that three armed bandits riding a motorcycle reportedly intercepted the bus of a private company to rob the passengers but the bus driver accelerated and hit the motorcyclists near Chak No.658-GB on Jaranwala Road.
As a result, one of the criminals received serious injuries and died on the spot whereas his two accomplices sustained serious injuries. Receiving information, a police team rushed to the spot and took the body into custody which was later identified as Azeem, who was wanted to police in a number of cases.
The police also arrested the two injured outlaws, who were identified as Babar and Usman.
The police recovered illicit weapons and other items from their possession while an investigation is ongoing, the spokesman added.
