Islamabad: The first modern aesthetic skin clinic of Pakistan, named 'On Aesthetics Skin Clinic' was officially inaugurated in Islamabad on Saturday, featuring state-of-the-art machinery and high-quality equipment imported from Europe.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by skin experts, political and social figures, including Muhammad Afzal Butt, President of the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists, who served as the guest of honor.

Butt congratulated Shahnaz Saeed, former Punjab Assembly member and founder of the clinic, on the establishment of this pioneering facility.

He highlighted the significance of the clinic in providing high-quality treatments at affordable rates, making European-standard services accessible in Pakistan and saving foreign exchange.

Mehnaz Saeed, who is also an aesthetic expert and key figure behind the clinic, shared her vision for the future, including plans to transform the clinic into a training center for emerging dermatologists.

She emphasized the vital role that quality equipment, modern machinery, and skilled staff play in achieving healthy and radiant skin.

Dermatologist Dr. Anzla also spoke at the event, stressing the importance of maintaining high standards in skin disease treatment.

She praised the clinic for introducing European-style technology to Pakistan, marking a significant step toward improving the quality of dermatological care in the country and providing valuable resources for both patients and professionals in the field.

It may be mentioned that the clinic will offer all skincare services, including HydraFacial, laser hair removal, PRP for skin and hair, mesotherapy for pigmentation, exosomes for hair and skin, laser treatment for uneven skin tone, fat-dissolving injections, and Botox for wrinkles.

Islamabad: Capital Development Authority (CDA) has engaged KPMG, a global professional services firm, to provide consultancy aimed at ensuring the financial feasibility and sustainability of various development projects in Islamabad.

A KPMG delegation met with CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa on Saturday, with CDA Board members and senior officials also in attendance.

The meeting focused on devising the best financial strategies to make CDA projects viable and investment-friendly. Several proposals were discussed to enhance their long-term sustainability.

Chairman Randhawa emphasized that the goal is to attract investment and drive Islamabad's development while ensuring that revenue generated from these projects is reinvested for the city's welfare.

The discussion also covered plans to organize conferences and seminars to engage potential investors.

KPMG will offer expert consultancy, technical assistance, and business models to optimize financial planning for CDA projects.

Chairman Randhawa expressed confidence that KPMG's expertise will play a crucial role in making these initiatives financially robust and sustainable.

Islamabad: AJK leaders on Saturday unequivocally condemned the Indian brutality in Kashmir and paid tribute to the brave Kashmiris who have been fighting for their freedom, in a show of solidarity with their Kashmiri brethren, the leaders, including Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan, Raja Farooq Haider Khan and Mulana Saeed Yousuf, reiterated their unwavering support for the Kashmiri people's right to self-determination.

In an exclusive conversation with PTV news channel AJK leaders have come out strongly in support of their Kashmiri brethren, paying tribute to their bravery against Indian oppression and hailing their struggle for freedom.

The AJK leadership reiterated their unwavering support for the Kashmiri people's right to self-determination, urging the international community to take notice of the human rights abuses in Kashmir.

Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan, Former Prime Minister AJK said "we stand firmly with our Kashmiri brothers and sisters in their struggle for freedom.

Their bravery in the face of overwhelming odds is a testament to their unwavering commitment to their cause. We salute their courage and resilience in the face of Indian occupation, he added.

Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan said despite India's efforts to suppress their movement, the Kashmiris will not be defeated and their spirit of freedom will only continue to grow stronger with each passing day.

Raja Farooq Haider Khan, Former Prime Minister AJK also added the people of Kashmir have shown extraordinary bravery in their fight for freedom.

We pay tribute to their sacrifices and reaffirm our support for their right to self-determination. We will continue to raise our voice against Indian atrocities and advocate for a peaceful resolution to the Kashmir dispute, he added.

Raja Farooq has also strongly condemned India's revocation of Article 370 and the resulting demographic changes in the region.

He noted that the actions of the Indian government have fueled widespread resentment and anger towards India, with many Kashmiris now harboring a deep-seated hatred for the country.

Mulana Saeed Yousuf, Ameer Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam AJK also strongly condemned India's actions in Kashmir, stating that the deployment of 10 lakh army personnel is a clear sign of the Indian government's insecurity.

He saluted the bravery of the Kashmiri people for facing such a massive military operation, saying "the presence of over a million Indian soldiers in Kashmir is a testament to the Indian government's fear of the Kashmiri people's struggle for freedom".

AJK leaders, including Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan, Raja Farooq Haider Khan, and Mulana Saeed Yousuf, have collectively called upon the international community to take immediate action to stop India's atrocities in Kashmir and to play a role in resolving the long-standing dispute.

They urged the world leaders to break their silence and hold India accountable for its human rights abuses in the region.

Islamabad: Senior leader of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq Saturday emphasized that the return of Kashmiri Pandits is a humanitarian issue and should not be politicized or linked to the broader Kashmir dispute.

According to reporter, in a media interview, Mirwaiz asserted that the Muslim community in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir eagerly awaits Kashmiri Pandits' return and is committed to ensuring their peaceful reintegration.

He stressed that Pandits belong to the Valley as much as their Muslim brethren and should feel safe to return to their ancestral homes. 'They will return and live peacefully as they once did, in an atmosphere of mutual love and harmony,' he said.

Mirwaiz revealed, 'I have appealed many times from the pulpit of Jamia Masjid for the return of Kashmiri Pandits.' He underlined that their rehabilitation must be a collective effort. 'The majority community will play its role in welcoming them, but they too must work towards bridging differences,' he stated.

Mirwaiz also revealed that he has held discussions with Kashmiri Pandit delegations on ways to facilitate their return, underlining the importance of trust-building and unity. 'I had a long meeting with Kashmiri Pandits where we explored possible steps to move forward together,' he noted.

Currently in New Delhi, Mirwaiz has been engaging with Muslim leaders, intellectuals and think tanks on key issues affecting Muslims, including the controversial Waqf Bill.

He reaffirmed that the Kashmiri Muslim community remains steadfast in its commitment to peaceful coexistence with the Pandits, recalling the centuries-old bond they once shared.

Islamabad: The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has achieved a historic milestone by incorporating the highest-ever number of companies i.e. 3,442 in a single month, reflecting a 39% increase compared to the monthly average of the previous year.

This unprecedented achievement reflects SECP's commitment to fostering a business-friendly environment and promoting ease of doing business in Pakistan, said a press release issued here on Saturday.

During the month of January, 2025, SECP registered companies across diverse sectors, with a significant concentration in key industries.

The Information Technology (IT) and e-commerce sectors saw the largest growth, adding 652 new companies. The trading sector followed with 463 new companies, services with 411 new companies, Real Estate Development and Construction recorded 311 new companies.

Tourism and Transport with 242, Food and Beverages with 158, Healthcare and Pharmaceutical with 233, Fuel and Energy with 81, Education with 124, Mining and Quarrying with 119, Marketing and Advertisement with 86, Textile with 79, Corporate Agricultural Farming with 73 new registrations.

Other sectors contributing to this growth included Auto and Allied, Power Generation, Sports and Allied, Tobacco etc. with 650 new companies.

Additionally, the incorporation trend highlights the growing preference for different types of business structures. Private companies accounted for 58% of the total new registrations, while single member companies represented 38%. The remaining 4% included unlisted companies, non-profit organizations, trade organizations and LLPs.

SECP's continued digital transformation, simplified registration processes, and facilitative regulatory framework have played a crucial role in achieving this milestone.

The surge in company registrations is a testament to Pakistan's growing entrepreneurial ecosystem and the increasing confidence of investors in the country's regulatory framework.

The SECP remains committed to supporting business growth through ongoing reforms and digitization initiatives, ensuring seamless company incorporation and compliance processes.

Islamabad: Indian forces in their fresh continued acts of state terrorism, martyred 11 Kashmiris, including six teenagers, during the last month of January in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

According to reporter, eight of the victims, including an elderly couple, died due to water contamination caused by the Indian army in Budhal village of Rajouri, a grim reminder of the brutal tactics employed by occupation forces to suppress Kashmiris.

During the month, Indian Army, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), and police arrested 37 civilians, mostly political activists, youth and students. Several detainees were booked under black laws such as the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) and Public Safety Act (PSA), designed to silence dissent and prolong illegal detentions.

Additionally, Indian troops damaged one structure during the period. The relentless military repression highlights the ongoing human rights violations in IIOJK, as BJP-led Indian government continues to use state machinery to crush the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
