Abbottabad: Chief Justice of Peshawar High Court (PHC), Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim on Monday assured that efforts will be made to resolve pending cases at the earliest to ensure timely justice for the public.
During the inauguration ceremony of a mosque at the PHC Abbottabad Bench, Justice Ibrahim emphasized that the cooperation of lawyers is crucial for the swift disposal of cases.
He further stated that both lawyers and clients would be provided with enhanced facilities within the courts to ease their proceedings. The chief justice also called for organizing training workshops for young lawyers within the bar and assured that the challenges faced by lawyers are shared by the judiciary.
Despite a shortage of judges, Justice Ibrahim reassured that pending cases are being effectively handled and decisions are being made in line with the principles of justice. He highlighted the importance of lawyer cooperation in ensuring the effective delivery of justice.
Additionally, lawyers from Manshera, Haripur, and Bat
tagram were encouraged to present their cases via video link at the High Court.
The chief justice also addressed the ongoing issue of parking at the High Court and assured that it will be resolved. He announced that two additional judges would be appointed to the Abbottabad Bench to further expedite the justice process, underscoring the collective responsibility of all to deliver prompt justice to the public.
