CIP seeks input to develop Mingora City on modern lines

SWAT::Cities Improvement Project (CIP) here on Tuesday organized a consultative meeting of stakeholders to seek input from public representatives, experts, officials and general public regarding development of Mingora City.

The meeting was attended by Chairman District Development Advisory Committee (DDAC) Swat Fazal Hakeem Khan Yousafzai, Member National Assembly Saleem ur Rehman, City Mayor Shahid Khan, CEO Water and Sanitation Company Swat Engineer Sheeda Muhammad, Senior Project Officer of Asian Development Bank, Syed Umar Ali Shah.

Through CIP water supply, establishment of parks, waste management schemes would be executed in Mingora City in first phase. The second phase would include a modern traffic management system and tourism projects.

It is pertinent to mention here that KP government is working on CIP in collaboration with Asian Development Bank to develop five cities of the province on modern guidelines including Mingora.
