PESHAWAR:The Capital City Police Peshawar Thursday launched a special clamped down on proclaimed offenders (POs) wanted in heinous crimes.
According to police sources, several steps including freezing of bank accounts, blockade of national identity cards (NICs) and other documents have also been blocked for the purpose. During the campaign several POs have already been arrested so far.
Similarly, for tightening noose around the POs, action against the facilitators of proclaimed offenders has also been begun. During which four facilitators were also arrested from the jurisdiction of Pishtakhara, Machni Gate and Mathani police.
The arrested facilitators have confessed several murders and attempted murderers and other heinous crimes.
