CM inaugurates international standard cricket ground project

PESHAWAR:Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mahmood Khan on Thursday inaugurated various uplift projects in Peshawar, prominent among which was an international-standard cricket ground at Hayatabad Sports Complex.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister informed the media that this cricket ground project would be completed with an estimated cost of Rs one billion.

At this state-of-the-art stadium, he said all international level facilities would be provided to the players and people. With the assistance of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sports Department, international-level cricket matches would be held at this ground.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister inaugurated five module operation theaters at Lady Reading Hospital here. The Chief Minister said work on 25 operation theaters was continued at Lady Reading Hospital.

Later, the Chief Minister inaugurated the Headquarters Tower of Khyber Bank which would be equipped with all contemporary facilities. The Chief Minister informed that the project would cost 1.29 billion rupees to complete.

Chief Minister Mahmood Khan also inaugurated a new block and other facilities at the Khyber College of Dentistry. He said the new block would further enhance the service delivery scope of the Khyber College of Dentistry to facilitate the people.
