LAHORE:Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif inaugurated 127 development projects in Attock, including 59 road construction and rehabilitation schemes worth Rs 23 billion, during her visit to the district on Tuesday.
The inaugurated projects also included an Agri Mall, Land Record Centre, Model Children’s Home and Fateh Jang Special Education Centre, said a handout issued here.
The 59 road schemes included Fateh Jang-Pindi Gheb Road, Dhok Lahm Jhamat Road and Mithial Chowk-Dhok Pathan Road, besides several other roads.
The chief minister received a warm welcome upon her arrival as a large number of people, party workers and children gathered along roads and streets to greet her. Flowers were showered along various routes and intersections, while her vehicle was covered with rose petals along Hattian Road, Kamra Road and University Road.
