HUB: Commissioner, Kalat, Muhammed Naeem Bazai on Thursday chaired a meeting regarding security arrangements during holy month of Muharam.
DIG, Munir Ahmed Shaikh was also present in the meeting, said a handout issued here.
Briefing the meeting, the DIG said personnel of police, traffic police, Rescue 1122 would perform their duties to ensure peaceful observance of the Ashura.
The Commissioner directed to implement Stander Operating Procedures (SOPs) of Home Department, Balochistan for security. He also directed to use CCTV camera, metal detectors and walkthrough gates to monitor the processions.
Meanwhile the Commissioner and DIG held a separate meeting with religious scholars belonging to all schools of thought to ensure inter-sectarian harmony and SOPs of security.
