RAWALPINDI: Commissioner Rawalpindi Division, Liaquat Ali Chatha here on Friday directed the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) to utilize all available resources to make Murree Road a model area.
Chairing the 21st Board of Directors’ meeting of PHA, the Commissioner appreciated the performance of the Authority and instructed to plant more saplings under plantation campaign besides efforts to improve the beauty of Rawalpindi city as well as Murree.
The board approved setting up of nurseries in different areas and also contemplated a proposal for establishing a food chain in Rawalpindi and Murree.
The representatives of various departments participated in the meeting.
Earlier, the Director General, PHA briefed the board members on the performance of PHA Rawalpindi which was appreciated by the board members.
