SUKKUR: Divisional Commissioner Sukkur, Fayaz Hussain Abbasi on Thursday held a meeting with the Deputy Commissioners of Sukkur division and relevant department, discussed regarding SEPCO recovery, observance of OGRA Guidelines/SOPs, mutation and transfer of Public Libraries, Construction of public toilets and other related issues.
The Commissioner stressed on the importance of improving SEPCO recovery as a national cause and emphasized on accelerating its pace. He directed to strictly implement on the Guidelines/SOPs issued by OGRA for selling and handling of LPG. Commissioner Abbasi also discussed the transfer of public libraries to the culture department and directed the officials to complete the mutation process as per the orders of honourable Sindh High Court. Commissioner Sukkur underscored the need of public toilets at public places. In this context, he directed the DCs to identify suitable locations for toilets, as per the orders of High Court Sindh and emphasized the Local bodies to allocate necessa
ry funds in their budgets during the next fiscal years.
Later, he directed the DCs to cooperate with the Sindh Revenue Board in clearing off the liabilities of Rs. 1,789 million against government functionaries.
