HYDERABAD:Commissioner Hyderabad Nadeem ur Rehman on Monday expressed his annoyance over appointments of teachers and staff in Public School Hyderabad from the management of IBA University Sukkur without approval from the Board of Governors of the school.
Presiding over the meeting of the Board of Governors of Public School Hyderabad, the Commissioner who is also the chairman of BOG termed the appointment of new staff and teachers as well as extension in services as the violation of the rules and regulations of the school and maintained the registrar of IBA University Sukkur would be asked to clarify the situation.
Such acts of IBA University Sukkur is the clear violation of Memorandum of Understanding and the management of the university should have to clarify the position, he added.
Declaring the appointments of teachers and other staff as well as extension in services of exiting employees as null and void, the commissioner announced that the vacant posts would be filled through advertisement after recommendations of the human resources committee of the school.
According to the MoU, he said maintain administrative and financial matters were the responsibilities of the school management instead of the IBA University Sukkur.
The BOG members including MNA Syed Tariq Shah Jamote and Senator Aajiz Dhamra also present recommendations about maintaining check and balance in the affairs.
The Commissioner assured that their recommendations would be incorporated in the minutes of the meeting for implementation in letter and spirit.
