SARGODHA: Commissioner Muhammad Ajmal Bhatti ordered the officers concerned to take stern action against illegal housing societies in the division. He issued these orders while chairing a meeting here at his office on Tuesday. In the meeting, four deputy commissioners presented report of stamp duty fees audit, progress made so far on pending registries and transfers and collection of agricultural income tax and irrigation water fees.
The meeting was briefed that according to the new policy of the Board of Revenue, a report had been prepared and sent to the Punjab government regarding rents and leases of 1738 government shops in Sargoda district and 209 shops in Khushab.
In the meeting, various decisions were also made to ensure percentage collection of revenue dues. Deputy Commissioner Capt (retd) Shoaib Ali, DC Khushab Zeeshan Shabbir Rana, DC Mianwali Sajjad Ahmed Khan and DC Bhakkar Dr Noor Muhammad Awan, ADCRs of the four districts, assistant commissioners and AC Revenue Malik Muhammad Ashraf were also present.
