SARGODHA: Commissioner Sargodha Division Hafiz Shaukat Ali on Friday chaired a meeting to review the implementation and progress of development projects being executed under the Project Development Program (PDP) of the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) and the Project Management Unit of Local Government (PMU-LG).
The meeting was attended by the Managing Director and Deputy Managing Director of WASA,Assistant Project Directors of PMU-LG,Deputy Directors Development and the Assistant Director Planning.
During the meeting,the MD WASA and Assistant Project Directors briefed the commissioner on the progress of development schemes,ongoing construction work and their implementation status.
The commissioner stressed the need for timely completion of projects,adherence to quality standards and effective monitoring.
He directed the concerned officers to conduct regular reviews of progress and ensure achievement of the stipulated targets.
He also directed the relevant departments to strengthen coordination and devise an effective strategy to remove bottlenecks hindering project completion.
Hafiz Shaukat Ali said timely execution of development schemes was essential to improving civic facilities and service delivery for the public.
