Hyderabad:The Divisional Commissioner Shaheed Benazirabad Syed Sajjad Haider Shah, visited Sanghar and met with the Deputy Commissioner Dr. Imran-ul-Hassan Khowaja to inquire about the overall situation in the district.
According to a handout issued on Wednesday, following the meeting with the DC, the Divisional Commissioner visited various ‘Seem Nullas’ in the district. During the visit, XEN Drainage Division Sanghar Akhtar Ali Khaskheli and XEN Mirpurkhas Fawad Memon briefed the Commissioner on the current rainfall situation and the capacity of the drains.
The Commissioner directed the drainage division officers to monitor the embankments of the Seem nullas closely due to the possibility of unexpected rains and to remove any obstacles in the drainage paths to ensure the prompt discharge of water. Additional Commissioner-I Shubhash Chander and Assistant Commissioner Jam Nawaz Ali, Deepak Kumar were also present during the visit.
