MANSEHRA:Constable Pervez Khan, gunman of DSP Palas Hayat Khan, was killed in a road accident at Kore within the jurisdiction of Baffa Police Station in Mansehra district on Wednesday.
According to details, DSP Hayat Khan, who is currently posted in Palas, was travelling to perform his official duties when his vehicle met with an accident at Kore.
As a result of the accident, Constable Pervez Khan sustained critical injuries and succumbed to them. He reportedly belonged to Balakot.
Following the incident, the police and rescue 1122 have reached the site and initiated the necessary proceedings. DSP Hayat Khan remained safe in the accident, and his condition was reported to be out of danger.
The incident has caused grief among colleagues and the local community, as the police personnel was performing his official duties at the time of the accident.
