ISLAMABAD:Secretary Ministry of Housing and Works Iftikhar Ali Shallwani on Friday said construction sector was the biggest source of job creation as it was linked with several other industries.
Addressing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) ceremony signed between Ministry of Housing and Works and Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) here, he said that it was the fundamental right of every citizen to live in his own house which ensures comfort and security in his life.
He mentioned the MoU signed between ministry and ICCI to envisage a plan of cooperation for the first International Housing Expo-2022 which would be organized in December 2022.
“Such cooperation would augment the growth of housing sector in the country and contribute in the growth of economic development at masses level,” he added.
The ceremony was attended by the senior officials of the ministry and ICCI.
