RAWALPINDI:The Rawalpindi district corona virus positivity ratio was recorded at 0.09 per cent here on Thursday, which was the lowest rate recorded after the arrival of the Omicron virus during the year 2022.
According to new data released by the District Health Authority, the District Health Authority has registered only one new case during the last 24 hours, from the Rawal Town.
“Presently, three confirmed patients are admitted to three health facilities including one of each in the Institute of Urology, Fauji Foundation and Bilal Hospital,” it added.
The report elaborated that two patients were stable and one on double oxygen support.
District Health Authority added 71 were quarantined, including 67 homes and four isolation.
In addition, the report updated that during the last 24 hours,1,098 samples were collected, out of which 1,097 were declared negative, while the positivity rate was recorded at 0.09 per cent.
The report added that 45,059 people had been discharged after recovery out of the total 46,462 confirmed cases reported in the district so far.
As many as 6,585,232 people, including 44,710 health workers, had so far been vaccinated against the fatal disease since the start of the vaccination drive from March 10, 2021″, it informed.
