ISLAMABAD:An Accountability Court (AC) on Thursday returned a reference to NAB against former DG Parks Karachi Liaqat Qaimkhani declaring it beyond the jurisdiction.
Administrator Judge AC Muhammad Bashir sent back the reference pertaining to holding assets beyond known sources of income after the amendments in the NAB law. The court said that after the amendments in NAB law, the case didn’t fall in its jurisdiction.
The accused had challenged the jurisdiction of the NAB court under the NAB amendment act 2022. The reference was connected with a fake bank account scam.
