Faisalabad:City Police Officer (CPO) Tanveer Hussain has directed police officers to resolve citizens’ complaints without delay, assuring the public that no injustice, unnecessary delay or neglect in addressing their grievances would be tolerated.
The CPO held an open court at his office where citizens appeared without intermediaries. They presented their applications and apprised the CPO of their problems and grievances, a police spokesperson said.
After hearing the citizens, CPO Tanveer Hussain issued directions to the officers concerned for timely resolution of their complaints and instructed them to ensure that the applicants were provided relief in accordance with law.
He said that open court was aimed at providing citizens a direct forum for presenting their complaints and ensuring that their problems were addressed on priority basis.
