FAISALABAD:The Civil Defence Department has launched a crackdown on illegal sale of oil and petrol across the district.
Civil Defence Officer Rana Ali Abbas said here on Thursday that various teams of Civil Defence Department were activated in the district and they had so far removed 230 petrol dispensers from mini oil shops and oil agencies in addition to confiscating their petrol machines and sealing their shops.
The confiscated material was deposited in the godowns of municipal corporation while further action against the illegal oil/petrol sellers was under progress, he added.
