RAWALPINDI: Police have arrested the most wanted criminal Umar Sati alias Commando who shot dead a young student and also injured his brother critically.
According to police spokesman, Umar Sati alias Commando along with his accomplices opened fire and killed a young student Zamam Ahmed and his brother Ammar Altaf Sati was also injured seriously. After committing the crime, the accused ran away from the scene.
Sadiqabad police have registered a case and started investigations.
The three accused Abdur Rehman Kayani, Wajiha Al Hasan alias Waji and Ramzan alias Pathan have already been arrested in the case.
SP Rawal Faisal Salim said that a team was formed on the special instructions of CPO Syed Khalid Mehmood Hamdani to arrest the wanted criminal.
Similarly, police have arrested two proclaimed offenders in the jurisdiction of Race Course police station here on Wednesday.
The Race Course police conducted raid and held Ghulam Murtaza, who was wanted in forgery case this year.
The same police arrested Abdullah who was wanted in a dispute case from 2021.
