SARGODHA: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) foiled a terrorist attack in Esa Khel and killed two terrorists, on Sunday.
A police spokesman said that a group of armed terrorists attacked a Punjab Highway Patrol Police Chowki in Esa Khel. However, the CTD personnel and the Chowki police foiled the attack. Two terrorists were killed and one was injured, while one police head constable, Haroon Khan, was also martyred in the attack.
The Punjab inspector general of police and Sargodha regional police officer hailed on police bravery.
