Islamabad: Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Islamabad Kainat Azhar Khan on Monday chaired a meeting to review traffic flow across the federal capital and measures to improve traffic management and travelling facilities for citizens.
An official told that SP Traffic Kainat and all zonal DSPs attended the meeting.
The meeting reviewed measures for smooth traffic flow, effective traffic management, better travelling facilities for citizens and equal enforcement of traffic laws.
The CTO Kainat directed officers to perform their duties professionally and take practical steps to improve traffic flow, particularly on busy roads.
She stressed that traffic laws should be enforced without discrimination, while traffic officers should focus on making daily travel easier and safer for citizens.
She also directed the officers to closely monitor traffic in their respective zones and ensure effective management to avoid unnecessary congestion.
