CTP roll out special arrangements for Murree tourists

RAWALPINDI: City Traffic Police (CTP) Rawalpindi has rolled out special arrangements for tourists visiting the picturesque town of Murree on the auspicious occasion of Eid ul Fitr.

More than 700 police officers and traffic wardens will be on duty to manage the flow of traffic in Murree, with 260 dedicated traffic police officers deployed for this purpose. Additionally, senior officers will be actively supervising operations in the field to ensure effective management.

City Police Officer (CPO) Khalid Mehmood Hamdani emphasized the utilization of all available resources to safeguard and facilitate tourists visiting Murree. He highlighted the installation of special pickets at 14 different locations to enhance safety and convenience for Eid-ul-Fitr holidays. Additionally, six facilitation centers have been established in Murree to assist tourists with guidance and information.

alid Hamdani assured that the best security and traffic arrangements are being coordinated with various institutions to ensure a smooth experience for visitors.

He urged the implementation of instructions issued by Tourist Police and the District Administration to further enhance safety measures.
