Lahore: Two suspects involved in robbery and theft were arrested, from whose possession 6 mobile phones were recovered. The Dolphin Squad also arrested members of a dacoit gang while conducting an operation. This was revealed in the weekly performance report of Dolphin Squad and Police Response Unit (PRU) that was released here on Sunday.
According to SP Dolphin Bilal Ahmed, the police arrested several suspects involved in robbery, theft and other crimes and recovered weapons and other equipment during various operations.
During patrolling, 10 habitual criminals including two proclaimed accused were taken into custody, while two suspicious vehicles and motorcycles were stopped at police stations. Legal action was also taken against 15 people in various operations.
According to SP Dolphin, three accused involved in one-wheeling and kite flying were also arrested. On the other hand, more than 47 people were rescued from different places under community policing and taken to safe places.
