FAISALABAD: Divisional Commissioner Silwat Saeed has said that the ‘Dastak’ programme will be launched at divisional headquarters on August 14, in line with the directions of the Punjab government.
The prime objective of the program is provision of services at the door steps of the people through information technology.
Presiding over a meeting here on Thursday, she directed all departments to send PC-I of development projects under annual development programme 2024-25. She strictly directed the department to follow a timeline in this regard.
She said that solid measures were being taken to improve the financial discipline and the governance.
The improvement is being seen in service delivery governance through enforcement of e-filing and office automation systems.
Deputy Commissioner Abdullah Nayyar Sheikh and other officers were present in the meeting.
