Abbottabad: A review meeting of revenue magistrates and district officers focusing on district performance and good governance was held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad Sarmad Saleem Akram at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office.
During the meeting, a detailed review was conducted of public complaint redressal mechanisms, service delivery standards, and overall district-level performance. The deputy commissioner directed that all complaints received through the Pakistan Citizen Portal and Ikhtiyar Portal must be addressed promptly and effectively, with formal feedback from citizens obtained after resolution.
Emphasizing improved governance, the deputy commissioner instructed price control magistrates and district officers to further enhance their performance and raise the quality of service delivery. He also directed all departments to ensure that tasks assigned by the provincial government and the district administration are completed within the prescribed timelines.
The meeting also reviewed municipal services, with TMAs, WASA, and the Communication and Works (CandW) Department directed to further improve service provision. In addition, the relevant revenue magistrates and field staff were instructed to take strict, coordinated action against encroachments.
Officers from the district administration, health, education, TMAs, WASA, agriculture, livestock, sports, youth affairs, public health, CandW, and other departments attended the meeting.
