DERA ISMAIL KHAN:The district administration and police held a jirga in Drazinda tehsil to discuss public grievances, administrative issues, and development needs of the area. Deputy Commissioner Hikmatullah Khan and District Police Officer Ziauddin Ahmed attended the jirga along with officials from various government departments, local elders and a large number of residents.
Local elders and tribal leaders apprised the officials of the problems being faced by the area, including public grievances and administrative matters. The officials directed the relevant departments to adopt a coordinated strategy to address the issues promptly and reviewed various proposals for development.
The officials said such jirgas would be held regularly to ensure sustainable development, improve public welfare and promote prosperity in the area.
