HYDERABAD: Deputy Commissioner (DC) District Returning Officer (DRO) Sanghar Dr. Imran ul Hassan Khowaja on Monday said that strict implementation of the code of conduct issued by the election commission would be ensured in connection with the general elections of 2024 and legal action would be taken against candidates who violate the code of conduct.
He expressed these views while presiding over a meeting with members of the district monitoring committee established for the upcoming general elections of 2024. He directed all officers to ensure compliance with the instruction issued by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) in every constituency and immediately remove panaflex larger than the prescribed size.
District Election Commissioner Sanghar Shahnawaz Brohi and other officers of the monitoring committee were also present on the occasion.
