HYDERABAD:Deputy Commissioner Shaheed Benazirabad Shehryar Gul Memon on Friday chaired a meeting in connection with starting a stormwater drain project for rainwater drainage in Nawabshah under the supervision of the Irrigation Department with the support of the World Bank.
Addressing the meeting the DC urged to complete ongoing work in the city carried out by various departments including SUI Gas, PTCL, Public Health, Roads, HESCO and other departments.
So that the stormwater drain project could be started in Nawabshah city with the support of the World Bank.
The DC while giving instructions to the officers of all concerned departments said after the construction and repair of stormwater drains and roads, no organization will be allowed to excavate the roads.
All the departments should complete the ongoing public welfare projects soon. on the occasion Deputy Director (SFE). RP) Shan Muhammad Malah and Project Director LBOD Amjad Memon informed about the stormwater drain project started under the supervision of the Irrigation Department with the support of the World Bank, while Public Health, Municipal, Telephone, Sea Gas, HESCO Additional Deputy Commissioner Shaheed Benazirabad Mohammad Salim Jatoi, XEN Public Health Muzaffar Hussain Zardari, XEN HESCO Didar Chana, XEN L. BOD Shahab Bhatti, Municipal Commissioner Mansoor Hussain, Regional Manager Sui Gas Subhan Dasti, Information Officer Sher Muhammad Jamali and other departments officers participated.
