ABBOTTABAD: Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad Khalid Iqbal on Thursday directed heads of the allied departments to resolve the complaints of the masses registered on the Pakistan Citizen Portal.
He expressed these views while chairing a progress review meeting for the months of August, September, and October in his office.
Khalid Iqbal issued directives for all departmental officers to pay attention to resolving public complaints and ensuring the provision of the best possible services to the citizens. To improve the efficiency of government departments, it was emphasized that registered complaints through the Pakistan Citizens Portal should be continuously monitored and resolved by relevant departments based on priority.
The Deputy Commissioner expressed his commitment to ensuring all possible cooperation from the local administration in providing facilities to the citizens.
The meeting was attended by the District Director Livestock Akbar Ali, Deputy Director Halal Food Dr Khizar Ali, District Social Welfare Officer Sahira Mushtaq, District Youth Officer Talal Salim, District Food Controller Shad Mohammad, and various other officers from different government departments present.
They discussed and coordinated efforts related to agriculture, sports, youth affairs, forest, health, mines and minerals, fisheries, and other areas to ensure the welfare of the community.
