HUB: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Hub, Ruhana Gul Kakar on Friday sped up the repair work on the alternative route connecting Sindh and Balochistan along the Hub River, on Friday.
According to DC Office, Rehana Gul Kakar took immediate notice of the damage to the alternative route and contacted officials from the National Highway Authority (NHA).
She urged them to commence maintenance and repair work on the route without delay.
In response, the NHA has now started the repair and strengthening work on the alternative route, using heavy machinery to restore the critical connectivity between the two provinces.
The repair work is expected to be completed in the coming days, providing a reliable alternative passage for commuters and cargo transportation along the Hub River.
