Faisalabad:Deputy Commissioner Nadeem Nasir on Thursday visited various parts of the city to inspect cleanliness. He went to Clock Tower chowk and its adjacent eight bazaars, Jail, Sargodha, Jhang, Allama Iqbal, and Kutchehry Roads. He reviewed the cleansing operation, checked duty roster of sanitary workers and directed them that Faisalabad should be an exemplary district regarding cleanliness. He said that zero tolerance police would be adopted and directed the waste management company that there should be no heap of garbage in any part of the city. Chief Executive Officer Faisalabad Waste Management Company (FWMC) Rauf Ahmad briefed the DC about cleanliness measures. Meanwhile, the DC also visited fruit and vegetable market Sadhar, Jhang road and inspected auction of vegetables. Director Agriculture Marketing Muhammad Usman and Secretary Market Committee Amir Ilyas Chatha were also present.
