BAHAWALPUR: Deputy Commissioner Bahawalpur Zaheer Anwar Jappa visited the markets of Dera Bakha and adjacent areas. He checked the quality and prices of food items. He visited shops, carts, and other business centers.
He said that the price lists should be displayed in a prominent place. He said that the sale of fruits, vegetables, and other food items should be ensured at fixed rates. In case of any violation, legal action will be taken. He directed that necessary steps should be taken to satisfy the people by reducing the prices of petroleum products and eliminating those elements that cause artificial inflation.
