DC listens to public complaints under open-door policy

Bahawalpur: In line with the good governance vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, measures are being taken to ensure the prompt resolution of public grievances and facilitate citizens.



Under the open-door policy, Deputy Commissioner Syed Hasan Raza listened to complaints and problems of citizens at his office on a daily basis and issued directions to the relevant officers for their immediate resolution.



The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned officials to ensure that there was no delay in addressing public grievances and that all complaints were dealt with on a priority basis. He said the district administration was taking every possible step to provide relief to the people and resolve their problems efficiently.



He repeated his commitment to resolving citizens’ issues through the open-door policy in an effective, transparent, and timely manner. The complainants expressed satisfaction over the prompt attention given to their issues and the practical measures taken for their resolution, and appreciated the performance of the district administration.
