MURREE:Deputy Commissioner Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi oversaw key welfare and administrative initiatives on Wednesday, distributing wheelchairs to persons with disabilities (PWDs) and reviewing progress on district development projects.
Attending a ceremony organized by the Mazdoor Foundation at the DC Office as chief guest alongside Foundation President Momina Abbasi, the deputy commissioner handed over 12 wheelchairs to deserving individuals with special needs.
Speaking on the occasion, Shirazi stated that facilitating mobility for special citizens remains an essential administrative duty. He commended civil society partnerships aimed at enhancing accessibility and supporting independent living for vulnerable residents across the district.
