DC orders various developments for upgradation of hospitals

KHANEWAL:Deputy Commissioner (DC) Salman Khan Lodhi ordered various development projects for upgradation of hospital in order to ensure more facilitation for the masses.

Presiding over a meeting of district health council here on Friday, the deputy commissioner said that all possible resources were being utilized to ensure maximum health facilities for masses and added that no negligence would be tolerated in this context. He urged doctors to give their best in provide improved health facilities to the people.

He approved digitalization of laboratory at District Headquarters Hospital with funds of Rs 1.1 million. He also asked officers concerned to send requisition to health department for over Rs 1.5 million pending dues of daily wages officials of the hospital.

He said that foundation stone of 100 beds Mother and Child unit with the cooperation of Jadeed group as the MoU would be signed soon between the Jadeed group and district health department. He announced that Thalassemia centre would made functional after Eid-Ul-Fitr.
