Lahore:The Lahore district administration on Wednesday continued crackdown on illegal encroachments under the Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz initiative to rehabilitate the infrastructure and beauty of the city.
As per the vision of CM Punjab, Deputy Commissioner Syed Musa Raza made a detailed review of the encroachments and cleanliness around Data Darbar, Bhati Chowk and Sigian Pul Service Road. He expressed displeasure over the performance of parking company and Metropolitan Corporation Lahore (MCL) over illegal parking in the vicinity of Bhati Chowk, Data Darbar, and ordered immediate action.
He also issued orders to immediately remove the piles of garbage in the empty space near Sigian Bridge. The DC said it is the top priority of the district administration to take practical steps to make the city clean and beautiful while maintaining the continuity of the Lahore Clean Mission.
