Chiniot: A meeting of the District Registering Authority was held on Saturday under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan to review matters relating to the registration, renewal and ongoing registration of private schools across the district.
The meeting reviewed applications submitted by private schools, required documentation, different stages of the registration process, pending cases and other related matters. Relevant officers briefed the deputy commissioner on the registration procedure for private educational institutions and challenges being faced in processing applications.
During the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan directed the concerned officers to complete the registration process in accordance with applicable laws, rules and merit and ensure that applications were processed without unnecessary delay. She stressed strict compliance with regulations and ordered thorough scrutiny of information and documents submitted by schools before processing cases.
She also directed the officers to resolve pending cases on a priority basis and ensure that the registration process remained transparent, systematic and efficient.
District Monitoring Officer/Assistant Commissioner Shaista Jabeen, CEO Education Waqas Ahmed Gul and other officials of the Education Department and relevant agencies attended the meeting and presented suggestions and recommendations on matters concerning private school registration.
