SIALKOT: Deputy Commissioner Sialkot Owais Mushtaq chaired a meeting on Friday to review progress on ongoing development projects across the district.
During the meeting, officials reviewed projects related to road construction and repair, health, education, drainage and basic civic facilities. The concerned departments also briefed the meeting on work progress, utilisation of funds and project completion timelines.
The deputy commissioner directed the departments to speed up work on all ongoing schemes and ensure their completion within the stipulated time. He stressed that road construction and repair projects must meet quality and durability standards while ensuring convenience for commuters.
He also directed the concerned officers to ensure timely completion of health and education projects, maintain the quality of construction materials and regularly monitor development work in the field. He further instructed them to resolve pending issues promptly and submit progress reports regularly.
