ABBOTTABAD:Deputy Commissioner Tariq Salam Marwat Friday presided over the review meeting at the end of the fourth day of the typhoid vaccination campaign and showed satisfaction with the performance.
Speaking on the occasion he said citizens must immunize their children to prevent typhoid and ensure cooperation with the health department and district administration.
A typhoid vaccination drive has been started in the seven Union Councils of district Abbottabad including Nawan Shahr, Cantt, Malikpura, Central Urban, Havelian Cantt, Kaihal Urban and Havelian Urban Union Council where 131,298 children between 9 months and 15 years are being vaccinated.
The health department also ensured supply of vaccines at 78 EPI centers of the district.
