Dir Lower: Deputy Commissioner Dir Lower Mohammad Arif Khan Thursday visited Koto Hydro Power Project where he was given a detailed briefing by Project Director Sultan Rome.
During his briefing, he informed the DC that so far 14 billion rupees have been spent on the Koto Hydro Power project.
The three turbines at Koto Hydroelectric Power will generate 41 MW of electricity. Koto Hydro Power will generate more than one billion rupees, he said and added that 98 percent of the work on Koto hydro power has been completed. Mechanical machinery installation is in progress and the work on the tunnel has already been completed, he told.
He said that 13998.89 million was been spent on the project. Three turbines have been installed in Koto Hydro Power which will generate 41 megawatts of electricity that will generate 1707 million in annual revenue. The project will be fully functional next month on September 30, 2024, he briefed.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the Project Director to complete the work in all the
units as soon as possible and assured all support from the district administration. Later, Deputy Commissioner along with Project Director and Assistant Director (Electrical) Sajjad Khan inspected various units of Koto Hydro Power Projects.
