Lahore: Director General Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Tahir Farooq on Thursday visited the LDA Urban Planning and Design Center and presided over a meeting to review town planning matters and public service delivery.
According to a spokesperson, the Director General announced that the Town Planning Wing was being fully digitized to monitor illegal commercial activities and curb unauthorized constructions effectively.
He said consolidating all LDA zones under one roof aimed at improving overall service delivery for the citizens.
DG Tahir Farooq directed officers and staff to enhance their conduct with the public alongside improving service delivery.
He further instructed the wing to accelerate the penalty collection campaign against illegal commercial use and step up field surveillance in their respective areas.
