Islamabad: A delegation led by Radio Pakistan Director News Amanullah Supra on Wednesday met Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Islamabad Ali Waseem and discussed ways to strengthen coordination between police and media and promote public awareness.
An official told reporter that the delegation included Deputy Controller News Muhammad Akram Khan and Zahid Hamid, Director Media Workers Welfare Funds Chaudhry Zameer Ashraf, and PTV Senior Producer Malik Sher Zaman.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on matters of mutual interest and discussed the importance of effective coordination between police and media.
They also discussed ways to use better communication and public awareness to provide citizens with timely and useful information.
