LARKANA:DIG Larkana Nasir Aftab has tightened the security during anti-polio campaign launched in the Larkana division and instructed the SSPs of the respective districts to deploy policemen for the polio teams and prepare a security plan.
In this regard, the DIG said that in all five districts of Larkana, overall measures were taken for the security of the anti-polio campaign which is continuing from Feb 26 to March 2.
There, plainclothes DIB personnel will be on alert along with the police within suspicious or sensitive areas. He said that during random snap-checking, picketing and patrolling, the youths will keep a close eye on suspicious activities.
He said that as a result of solid security in anti-polio campaign areas, communication and information sharing will be ensured at all levels.
He said that the SSPs of all five districts would monitor the security and oblige the relevant SHOs to stay in the areas to make the campaign successful.
