MANSEHRA:Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police Hazara Region Mohammad Ejaz Khan Saturday paid a significant visit to the Hydropower projects in district Mansehra. During this visit, he undertook inspections of several ongoing projects, including the Kaghan Hydropower Project, Ghunol Hydropower Project, and the Chinese Camp.
The visit also involved meetings with army officers, project coordinators, and Chinese officials, focusing on project-related matters and security.
Chinese project coordinators briefed DIG Mohammad Ejaz Khan, primarily focusing on security aspects and other pertinent details. The DIG acknowledged the importance of the numerous Chinese projects currently in progress across Pakistan and their substantial contributions to the nation’s development. He particularly commended China’s significant role in Pakistan’s progress and prosperity.
Highlighting the paramount importance of ensuring the safety and well-being of Chinese residents in Pakistan, DIG Mohammad Ejaz Khan underscored that the Pakistani government and Hazara Police are unwavering in their commitment to this endeavor. No compromises will be made when it comes to safeguarding the Chinese community in the country, adding he said.
The DIG reiterated the necessity of further strengthening the security measures for the Chinese community and fostering closer ties with them to ensure that the police can provide prompt assistance during any unforeseen emergency.
He expressed his complete confidence in the collaborative efforts and support extended by Chinese officials in this regard.
DIG Mohammad Ejaz Khan instructed the District Police Officer (DPO) of Mansehra Zahoor Babar Afridi and other police officers to enhance the effectiveness of security measures for the Chinese community and solidify relationships with its members.
The primary goal is to ensure that law enforcement can swiftly respond to any crisis or emergency situation, ensuring the highest levels of safety and security for Chinese residents.
